Welcome to The Crown Inn, Chiddingfold, Condé Nast Johansens Most Excellent Inn in Great Britain 2010. An idyllic English pub, The Crown Inn nestles in a quiet corner of the picture-perfect village green of Chiddingfold.
Totally refurbished, the olde world charm has been lovingly maintained and sympathetically blended with a more sophisticated and contemporary decor. Beautiful stained-glass windows provide a stunning backdrop to our large dining rooms, whilst our downstairs bar has a more informal ambience.
Recently awarded 'Highly Commended status' by the AA to go with our coveted 5 Stars, we are proud to be one of only two Inns in England with this status.
Using fresh seasonal ingredients The Crown Inn serve delicious traditional food complimented by an extensive selection of excellent wines and real ales. Our bedrooms recently refurbished, with their stunning ancient beams and gently sloping floors, create a truly romantic atmosphere. Within an hour’s drive of London there can be few better locations for a weekend break - or even just a cracking Sunday lunch!
