From Mummies to Motorbikes will explore the important heritage of The Royal Dramatic College, The Oriental Institute, Martinsyde Ltd and James Walker Ltd.
From 1865 – 1996 the four organisations were all based on the present day site of The Lion Retail Park on Oriental Road. They all influenced and altered the history of Woking in different ways. From Royal connections, to world cultures and technological advances, the exhibition will give visitors a fascinating insight to the art, architecture and wonderful collections that were based there.
