Guildford Cricket Festival

SURREY CCC v LANCASHIRE CCC (LV County Championship, four days) from Wednesday, 11th July to Saturday, 14th July. Play will commence at 11.00 am each day.

SURREY v NOTTINGHAMSHIRE OUTLAWS (CB40) on Sunday, 15th July. Play will commence at 1.45 pm.
The Festival is traditional name for the week when Surrey CCC come and play professional cricket at Guildford – this has happened annually since 1938. There is always a distinct Festival atmosphere - the ground at Woodbridge Road is transformed by the erection of marquees and public stands and seating around the boundary edge for over 3,000 spectators.

For the County Championship game (Wed-Sat), non-members may gain admission through the turnstiles by the pavilion gate or at the far end of the ground by the café in Woodbridge Road. Entry costs £10 for adults and £1 for U-16 juniors. There are no advance ticket sales.

Tickets purchased in advance cost £15 for adults and £5 for U-16 juniors. There is also a Family Ticket (2 adults + 2 juniors) available by advance purchase only for £35. Tickets may be purchased in advance from March 2012 on-line, by telephone (0844 375 1845) or in person from The Kia Oval.
The Sunday game is extremely popular and advance purchase of tickets is strongly recommended. Tickets are usually available on the day on the gate from 12 noon and cost £20 for adults and £5 for U-16 juniors. However, they may sell out and the gates may be shut.
