Mother's Day at Polesden Lacey

Polesden Lacey in spring

Type: Participatory Event

10th March 2013

Treat your mum to a day out in the glorious surroundings of Polesden Lacey this Sunday. Spring has well and truly sprung making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy a walk in the gardens and glimpses of the more than 30,000 daffodils planted by the Polesden gardeners last autumn which are just starting to show themselves.

For gift inspiration, look no further than the Polesden shop, one of the largest in the National Trust. Ideas include special handmade hampers which can be customised with any items of your choice from the shop ; or the National Trust's own Country Cook Book with some great traditional recipes; as well as lovely new ranges of scarves and stationery.

To complete your perfect day out, enjoy a homemade treat in the Courtyard Restaurant or Coffee Shop.
