Type: Participatory Event

Saturday 11 and Tuesday 14th February

Savour the romance and history of Polesden Lacey this Valentine’s Day. Polesden became known as a royal romantic venue when the Duke and Duchess of York (later George VI and Queen Elizabeth) spent part of their honeymoon there. We are now offering modern day Romeos a sumptuous supper in the Courtyard Restaurant on Tuesday 14th February from 7pm for £25 per adult.

For those wanting to dance the night away, the Courtyard Restaurant will also be hosting a Dinner Dance on Saturday 11th February from 7.30pm with live music from Java Jam who have performed here many times before to popular acclaim. Culinary delights planned include Consommé Julienne with poached quails egg and roast hogget lamb. The cost for the Dinner Dance is £40 per adult.

Polesden is the perfect place for a spot of romance – why not recreate an historic photograph of the royal honeymooners on the garden steps or take a romantic stroll through the grounds and woodlands where the future King and Queen would have walked together?

Bookings for the Valentines Supper or Dinner Dance must be made in advance. To book a place, please email: polesdenlacey@nationaltrust.org.uk, or call: 01372 452048.
