Be sure to pencil Saturday 8 March in your diaries for the best Wellness Day at G Live in Guildford. Organised by the Guildford Woking Complementary Health network, over 15 complementary therapists and 25 retailers of health products will exhibit in G Live’s foyers from 10am – 4.30pm.
This day will provide a unique opportunity for you to meet any number of therapists on an informal basis. Find out how their therapies could help you and get to experience them in a 20 minutes sample treatment for only £10! You may even come across some Wellness Day offers like a discounted first appointment. Try therapies ranging from Aromatherapy, Bio Energy Healing, Bowen Therapy, Chiropractic, Cranio Sacral Therapy, Indian Head Massage, Kinesiology, Reiki, Reflexology to Remedial Massage and more. New therapies being offered this year are: Acupressure Massage, Acupuncture, Amatsu, Bodytalk, Facial Reflexology, Sound Therapy and Vacuflex. You could also have a 20 minute Tarot reading session.
Come and browse the many different stalls selling selections of natural beauty and health products like Natural Aloe Vera Products, Magnetic Jewellery, Healing Gemstones, Natural Beauty Products, Crystals, Vitamins, Supplements, Books on Health related topics and many more…
This year you will also be able to attend free seminars and workshops on alternative therapies including tips on ways to improve your health throughout the day
Also new for the Spring 2014 event is the Living/Raw Food Counter where you can taste and buy delicious savouries and sweets: cakes, crackers, patés, smoothies and snacks (most of which are alkalising), learn about the nutrients and health benefits they give you, how to make these at home, plus find out about retreats and courses on a whole new way of nourishing and revitalising yourself using living/raw food. "
The Wellness Day is raising funds for The Fountain Centre which offers complementary therapy and support for cancer patients who are receiving treatment at St Luke's Cancer Centre at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. GWCH will be holding a Raffle with great prizes, kindly donated by all the therapists and stall holders, There will be second-hand health books stall to help raise further funds for them too.
So… bring your friends, come in from the cold, pop your coat in the cloakroom and ‘make a day of it’ as there is a lot to do, see, eat, learn and experience!
