Robin Hood (2010) Film Location in Surrey

British director Ridley Scott's new film Robin Hood, starring Russell Crowe as Robin Hood and Cate Blanchett as Maid Marion is due to be released in May 2010

Most of the village scenes for Robin Hood were captured on and around the Hampton Estate  in Surrey. The filmmakers also identified a beautiful grove of ancient oaks nearby that were used for a key scene. 

Enjoy a walk or picnic at  Bourne Woods.  This quiet ancient woodland with mixed conifers and semi-natural broadleaf trees is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the countryside.
