Shopping Breaks in Surrey

If you are looking for a shopping break, look no further than Surrey.  With a range of high street stores, to independents, shopping centres to historic lanes, Surrey has it all.

Guildford at the centre of the county is famous for its cobbled High Street which is lined with well known brands.  Radiating out from the High Street are pretty side streets with high end boutique stores and an eclectic range of independent retailers where you can treat yourself to something special.  Within the town are three shopping centres providing yet more spots to enjoy some retail therapy, but this time all under one roof.

Woking town centre has undergone a complete re-development in the last few years and now boasts a central new town square with cafes and restaurants.  Next to the square are the towns two shopping malls which offer all the usual high street brands, making Woking a modern and vibrant place to visit.

Surrey is known for its historic market towns with each offering a mix of known big brands but also many independent shopping experiences.  Combined with local produce cafes, family run restaurants, and local attractions, the towns of FarnhamGodalmingDorking, and Epsom are certainly worth stopping off for a few hours.

Kingston upon Thames at the northern end of the county in addition to lots of large big brands has two large department stores.  Bentalls has been in Kingston for around 130 years and offers everything, almost including the kitchen sink!  The popular John Lewis is just across the road and also provides visitors with a huge range of departments to keep you busy for several hours at a time.
