The County Club is a private members club established in 1882. Set at the very heart of Guildford High Street members enjoy informal bar meals or fine dining in the restaurant. The top floor of the club boasts high quality meeting facilities, The Carroll seats 12 boardroom style, the Abbot for up to 20 and the Wodehouse for 50 theatre style or 36 boardroom. All have very easy access wireless broadband. The Carroll has a 50" plasma screen and a data projector is available in the other rooms. Our largest room, The Doric Suite is available after 3.30pm on week days and at weekends. Ideal for banquets it will seat up to 70 for a dinner or 100 for a buffet. This room is also ideal for presentations, 70 can seat theatre style. The club has its own catering facilities and full time staff to ensure your event runs to the high standards you would expect. The County Club is privately owned, flexibility is key to our success.

Road Directions

Leave the A3 at Guildford, marked Guildford and Leisure Centre. Go past the college, through the next set of traffic lights, under a bridge, past another set of lights and into Chertsey Street. Merge left with North Street traffic then turn left at the lights. Take the 2nd exit onto the A246 Epsom Road for 100yds then turn right into Jenner Road. Turn right at the top of the road and into Sydenham Road. Park in Castle Car Park and park on level 5.

Public Transport Directions

Follow signs for High Street past Friary shopping centre. Walk through the White Lion Walk shopping centre and into High Street. Come past the Guildhall on your left. Walk past Sainsburys. There are two clothing shops 'H' and 'Jaegar'. The County Club is between them.
