Visit Surrey Partnership

The Visit Surrey Partnership has been set up:

• To co-ordinate Surrey-wide tourism activity, discourage duplication and seek economies of scale
• To support and work with partner agencies in the continued development and improvement of the tourism industry in the County
• To promote Surrey’s tourism product
• To champion tourism in Surrey across the public and private sectors and to lobby on behalf of the tourism sector
• To ensure all tourism projects in the County are sustainable; of benefit to the economy but without detriment to the environment

Specifically as an Area Group for Tourism South East, the regional tourist body for the South East of England, and in that capacity to:

• To manage the Tourism South East contribution to the County
• To appoint a member to the Tourism South East Board
• To assist in the growth of Tourism South East commercial and local authority membership

The Partnership currently comprises of 125 Tourism South East members. New members can be added to the committee at the majority agreement of the partnership.
Ideally, they should represent a significant element of the Surrey tourism and leisure industry or represent a consortium of business interests involved in the industry.
