Step into a 'living work of art' when you discover 158 acres of magnificent award-winning 18th Century Grade 1 listed Georgian landscape and lake. Stroll along our historic route through a series of unfolding vistas known as 'The Hamilton Landscapes'. Enjoy spectacular views across Surrey, an amazing crystal Grotto* plus many other interesting and unusual follies. A wide variety of family events and adult talks held throughout the year. Visit the American Roots Exhibition and NCCPG National Plant Collection of North American Trees and Shrubs. Our Tearoom serves light lunches and afternoon teas and the gift shop stocks Painshill Wine and a range of seasonal gifts. Open all year (closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Dogs on a short lead are welcome. Free car and coach park. Closes at dusk if earlier than stated time. Last admission Mar - Oct 16:30; Nov - Feb 15:00. (* Restricted opening times to Grotto).
