Denbies Wine and Cheese Making Experience

Norbury Blue cheese is made locally just 10 minutes drive from Denbies Wine Estate.
The milk comes from a farm-assured, closed herd of Friesian cows from Norbury Park farm.
Denbies Wine Estate is England’s largest vineyard, set in 265 acres of vines.
Exclusive to Denbies, this is an informative and enjoyable day.
Morning
During the visit to Norbury Blue, you will learn all about the cheese making process and experience first hand, the opportunity to make cheese in the traditional way. This will include full involvement from ‘cutting’ the curds and whey to loading the moulds.
Lunch
Return to Denbies for lunch.
Afternoon
The afternoon will be spent in the working winery with our Denbies wine expert. Instruction will given be on the blending of wine, wine styles and you will be invited to create your own English wine blend.
Due to the fact that Denbies is a working winery, bottling, labelling and filtering of the wines may also be taking place.
Please note –Denbies Wine Estate is a working winery. All timings are approximate and may have to be rescheduled to fit in with the workings of the vineyard & winery
