Nutfield Priory was built in 1872 as an extravagant folly for Joshua Fielden, Member of Parliament for Bradford who had always longed to live in his own priory. the building is embellished with elaborate carvings, intricate stonework, stained glass and cloisters reflecting the Palace of Westminster.
