There is something for everyone in Surrey. Whether you enjoy browsing round market stalls or have a penchant for unique bijoux shops, you will find it all in the eclectic mix of shopping in Surrey.

Boutique shops

Villages such as as Shere, Gomshall and Milford all have unique gems of shops, while smaller towns like Cranleigh and Godalming also have specialist shops, including craft, clothes and food. Larger towns also offer a selection of individual shops.

Markets

Woking and Kingston both have a daily fruit and vegetable market, while Guildford's fruit and vegetable market operates on Friday and Saturday only. On Sunday the market at Blackbush offers enormous scope with everything from toys to clothes and shoes.

Farmers' Markets

Surrey offers regular Farmers' Markets throughout the county on a variety of days where local producers sell their own quality meat, fruit, vegetables, fish and other culinary products. These are usually held in the main thoroughfare but in places like Dorking and Milford they are located a short distance from the centre. Please see our food and drink pages for dates and times.

Department and Chain Stores

If you want to visit large department stores, all the major towns have a wide selection of high street stores.

Guildford offers a shopping centre in North Street and the cobbled High Street with it's coaching inns and Georgian buildings, while Woking offers a more compact shopping experience.

Antique Shops

Many of the villages have their own antique and curiosity shops, while Dorking has a whole street dedicated to them!
