The theatre seats 244 and is run and maintained by volunteers, whose efforts have seen many technical and aesthetic improvements. It is fully equipped with professional quality stage-lighting and sound equipment, a PA and tannoy system, backstage net, hearing-aid loop, CCTV, four dressing rooms and a fitted kitchen. There is also a bar and sweet-shop run by the Friends of the Barn.
Behind the theatre is the Little Barn which is also available for hire.
