Wisley is the historic home of the RHS and undoubtedly one of the finest gardens in the world.
Huge swathes of spring crocus join glorious displays of magnolias, rhododendrons and fruit blossom. Summer is awash with beautiful roses, meadow flowers and colourful traditional and contemporary mixed borders. From autumn’s bountiful harvest and wonderful golden shades to a winter wonderland of evergreens, berries, vivid stems and frost-sparkled walks. Home to all kinds of exotic plants, the impressive Glasshouse is a great place to explore whatever the weather.
The garden is an inspirational backdrop for sculpture exhibitions, Craft Fairs and a programme of diverse leisure learning courses in gardening, photography and art. Visit the Lindley Library at Wisley and access our world-renowned collection on gardening: open to all for browsing, research and inspiration.
Taste of Wisley offers delicious seasonal menus with quality garden produce and cakes and bread freshly baked at Wisley. Indulge in a brunch, lunch or an afternoon tea in the Restaurant. Visit the Food Hall for Great British inspired dishes and cakes or enjoy the family friendly atmosphere in the Glasshouse Café.
With more than 12,000 different plants available at Wisley Plant Centre, we cater for everyone from the beginner gardener to the plant collector. Our knowledgeable staff can offer you advice and assist you with your planting for instant colour. In the Gift Shop there’s an extensive selection of books, gifts for all ages, fashion and home accessories and delicious food items.
