On Sunday 14 June, our fellow residents will be coming together again to explore how we can reverse nature loss in Guildford, keep our streets clean, and ensure the town centre can thrive for future generations. Last year, over 3,000 locals joined the free festivities, and this year, we’re expecting even more. Will you be there?
Join in the fun on the High Street from 11.00 to 16:00 as we invite residents and visitors to “Be part of a Greener Guildford”.
Guildford Borough Council is coordinating the free, fun and interactive event, bringing in dozens of local providers, traders and community organisations, all working together. The event will involve a range of environmental education and awareness activities, family entertainment, and many different stalls on the High Street. Guildford’s BIG Green Day will help attendees contribute to making Guildford a more sustainable place.

Guildford BIG Green Day is supporting the national The Great Big Green Week. It will help raise awareness of climate change issues and environmental concerns by promoting climate change initiatives, waste & recycling, flood resilience, air quality, vegan food, and local green businesses.
