Stoke Park provides a green space at the edge of the Town Centre, boasting sports pitches, pitch and putt, along with an enclosed play park, boating lake and paddling pool to provide a cool spot to relax and play on a hot summer's day.

Alternatively escape the bustle of the High Street by visiting the many green spaces such as 

Breath taking panoramas await, choose from a gentle strong along the River Wey, a circular walk around one of the many picturesque villages or an adventurous hike along the North Downs and Greensands Way.

  • Visit Newlands Corner to enjoy spectacular views from this popular beauty spot. 
  • Cycle the Downs Link - a long-distance route which follows two disused railway lines. and takes you across the Surrey Hills and the South Downs.
  • Walk The Fox Way, either all in one go, or in sections depending on time and fitness. 
  • Hatchlands Park is child friendly and dog friendly with lots to explore including Wizard Wix’s Willow Warren, a Treehouse and more. 
  • Head for Chilworth and the Gunpower Mills and explore the history of the area. 
  • If you are in Guildford Town, you can be up on Pewley Downs in ten minutes and lose yourself in the beautiful views. 
  • Explore the Riverside Park and Nature Reserve and enjoy a picnic by a lake.
