Take a river trip

Why not relax and explore Surrey's charming canals and rivers and discover some of Surrey's leafy picturesque beauty from a different angle. With numerous peaceful rivers and lakes throughout the county stocked with many species of fish including carp, roach, perch, tench, pike and bream.  Come on by and enjoy some fishing at Shillinglee, Lightwater Country Park or  Bury Hll Fisheries. Please remember that permits and licences may be required; please check with local club or fishery.

Take a stroll along the tow path

Have a blast on  water skis or try your skills at paddle boarding at JBSki in Surrey.  Spending a day on a lake creates great memories. 

Enjoy a day at a Surrey Beach

Frensham pond beach is a great place to relax in the summer. With a cafe to purchase an ice-cream and plenty of trees nearby to offer shade and natural play for the kids to enjoy.

Splash at the water ride in a theme park

Get drenched and cool down on one of water rides at one of Surrey's top class theme parks. Whether it's a leisurely paced boat ride on Bubbleworks at Chessington or an absolutely soaking at Tidal Wave in Thorpe Park

Dine by the river

Riverside pub locations offer dining or drinking with magnificent views.  You will find wonderful food overlooking the river Thames at The Swan at Walton On Thames.   Another perfect rest stop is the delightful Drummond Arms in Albury with its private garden backing onto the crystal clear Tillingbourne.  You will find plenty of riverside pubs along the River Wey (to find their locations use map view).  One of which is The Stag at Eashing, with its wonderful outdoor seating area, this pub is an ideal place to stop off and enjoy al fresco dining on a summers evening.  Please be aware that all the pubs mentioned do get particularly busy so book early to avoid disappointment.
