Join us for the Smart UK Day at ENTER 2020 eTourism Conference
The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Surrey is very pleased to invite you to join us for the forthcoming Smart UK Day being held on the 9th of January 2020.
Seizing the opportunity of having gathered in Guildford the leading researchers and practitioners in e-tourism from all over the world, the conference will facilitate one of the most important meeting places for the UK and European tourism and hospitality industries in 2020. In bringing together industry leaders from across the sector, the conference will explore questions such as:
• How companies and brands can capitalize on the digital transformation of travellers’ habits?
• What are the strategies for cities to keep on track with the development?
• Which alliances are needed to guarantee further access to competence and business?
These, along with many other questions will be addressed through a series of keynote lectures and panel sessions throughout the day. Panel sessions include a wide range of issues, such as: marketing destinations in a digital age, digital experiences at attractions, digital futures in hospitality, and future trends and challenges in the industry. Additional sessions within the main conference also include the role of autonomous vehicles, intelligent assistants and data privacy and cyber security.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to arrange personal meetings between academia and industry. Students and young professionals from the start up scene will be available for companies and institutions to tackle current challenges and work further on innovative solutions possibly even after the conference.
Confirmed speakers include:
Mark Tanzer - CEO, ABTA
Anna Lowe – co-founder, Smartify
Chris Cowls – Director, eProductive
