Enjoy a relaxing boat trip onboard Kitty for a cruise in the beautiful surroundings of the Basingstoke Canal in Woking. Enjoy a cruise past Horsell Common, a short distance from the setting for HG Wells’ “War of the Worlds”, and see the town from a completely different, and peaceful, perspective.

Public Trips run at various times throughout the summer, each trip lasting approximately 1¼ hours if no stops are made. For details of the trip schedule, please see the website. You can book as individuals or family groups on public trips, up to a maximum of 12 people, and you will be sharing the boat with others.

Alternatively, for that special occasion, you can book a charter trip for up to 12 guests, when you will have the exclusive use of the boat – and you can choose a morning or afternoon trip to suit your event.

All trips are crewed by trained volunteer members of The Basingstoke Canal Society, and the helmsman is appropriately certified for this kind of boat. The proceeds benefit the Society, which works to safeguard the Canal for the future.
