About
The Farnham Pottery is a carefully preserved example of a Victorian country pottery with charming architectural features. The potters of the day were celebrated for their skills in making ornate chimney pots, window frames and archways. Today it plays a key role in the history of pottery and is currently thriving as a national hub for local artists, providing craft opportunities to a community of over 400 makers.
If you are inspired by the craft that happens on the site then don’t miss the Pottery Shop which sells unique ceramic items made by the students on site.
Alongside pottery we support local artists with weekly art classes in the fancy loft, wood and stone sculpture workshops as well as monthly local live music concerts and regular exhibitions, visit our website for the latest event details.
Your visit wouldn't be complete without dropping into our very popular cafe offering exciting homemade cakes, as well as a breakfast and lunchtime menu served throughout the day (9am - 4pm, 7 days a week). VIsit The HOBO.CO for details.
