Surrey Day - How to get Involved

The sixth annual Surrey Day takes place on Saturday 11 May 2024 – and we can’t wait to come together to celebrate the delights of our beautiful county.

A free community initiative, Surrey Day is led by a partnership between Visit Surrey, BBC Radio Surrey, and The Surrey Lieutenancy.

It’s one big celebration, open to everyone! All events and activities can be posted for free here on our top-ranking Visit Surrey website – there’s an upload button at the bottom of this page.

We will be shortly be announcing more green illumination for Surrey Day – so why not take part, whether it’s your shop window, your village church, your garden or fish tank! Whatever you decide, let us know in advance and be part of our light show on social media.
  • We have our own county flag here in Surrey and it would be great to see the county flag raised on Surrey Day.   Our flag has a lot of history behind it. Find out more.
