The Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland is unveiled each February to international acclaim. Surrey is proud to host an exceptional collection of Michelin-starred restaurants to rival the finest dining destinations in the UK - how many have you experienced?
A true mark of gastronomic excellence, a Michelin star is among the most coveted accolades in the culinary world. It recognises restaurants delivering outstanding cuisine, exemplary service and a memorable dining experience, and its prestige is recognised globally.
Following the release of the 2026 Michelin Guide, we are delighted to celebrate four Surrey restaurants that have retained their Michelin stars: Great Fosters’ The Tudor Pass near Egham, Latymer at Pennyhill Park near Bagshot, Sorrel in Dorking and Starling in Esher. We also extend special recognition to The Dysart Petersham, located just beyond the county border near Richmond Park in historic “Old Surrey”.
Elsewhere in the 2026 guide, Dastaan in Ewell has retained its Bib Gourmand distinction. This award highlights restaurants offering exceptional quality and flavour at a moderate price, typically for a three-course meal.
The Anchor in Ripley, The Victoria in Oxshott, The Bailiwick Freehouse near Egham and Maison near Farnham are also listed in this year's guide. Michelin recommended restaurants are recognised by inspectors as places to enjoy a high-quality meal.
Congratulations to all of Surrey’s culinary stars - and thank you for showcasing the county’s vibrant food and drink scene on the international stage.

The Tudor Pass
Great Fosters Hotel, Stroude Road, Egham, Surrey TW20 9UR
With just seven tables, The Tudor Pass at Great Fosters offers an intimate dining experience where inventive tasting menus are shaped by seasonality and locality.
The finest ingredients always take centre stage - many grown only steps away in the estate’s own kitchen gardens and orchards.
Long celebrated for its refined culinary vision, The Tudor Pass now enters an exciting new chapter under the leadership of executive head chef Stefano Di Giosia. His approach brings together flavour, precision and storytelling, marking a confident evolution of the restaurant’s identity.
Appointed just eight months ago, in July 2025, Chef Di Giosia is also celebrating a significant personal milestone: this accolade represents his first Michelin Star in his own right.
