Surrey boasts a number of fine theatres offering a diverse range of dance, musicals and drama, from West End shows to community and am-dram productions. Major theatres in Surrey include the Yvonne Arnaud in Guildford and Rose Theatre in Kingston, staging locally produced and national touring productions, and the New Victoria Theatre in Woking, one of the largest receiving house theatres outside of London.

Surrey also hosts a number of popular outdoor theatre productions throughout the year, making the use of the county's stunning landmarks as a dramatic backdrop. Look out for regular productions from Guildford Shakespeare Company, The Pranksters Theatre Company or The Guildburys Theatre Company to name just a few.
