Champagne-like chalk soils, sheltered Surrey Hills countryside and, in a good year, plenty of sunshine have helped Surrey vineyards to lead the way in English wines.  Surrey's vineyards are rapidly making our county a capital of wine production in Britain.

Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, is England’s largest vineyard and situated amongst the lush green hills of the North Downs.

Enjoy wine tasting or vineyard tour at Albury Vineyard.  This award-winning vineyard, located next to the Silent Pool beauty spot is a small family-owned organic vineyard.

Greyfriars Vineyard, situated on the south facing chalk slopes of the Hog’s Back, is just a few miles to the west of Guildford. They offer informative tours and tastings.

Treats for the Spring/ Summer: High Clandon will run bespoke Tour, Talk Tasting in their atmospheric Glass Barn or outside under the ‘great tree’ weather permitting including a walk to the vineyard now approaching spring/summer finery.
