Things to do on a Rainy Day in Guildford

A rainy day in Guildford is the perfect opportunity to explore some of the area's most fascinating indoor attractions.

Take in the stunning architecture and peaceful atmosphere of Guildford Cathedral, discover local history at Guildford Museum, or enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful Loseley House.  History enthusiasts can delve into Guildford's past with a tour of The Spike Heritage Centre, a former Victorian workhouse that offers a unique insight into life in Surrey over a century ago.

For something a little different, adults can visit Hogs Back Brewery or enjoy a guided tour of the Silent Pool Distillery, where you can learn about the craft behind their award-winning spirits and discover the story of one of Surrey's most picturesque landmarks.  Please be aware all tours must be prebooked before arrival.

Art lovers can spend hours exploring the inspiring collections at Watts Gallery, or Guildford House Gallery.  For those looking for entertainment can challenge friends and family at Mulligans indoor mini golf, Puttify at Guildford Spectrum or enjoy board games, puzzles and family-friendly fun at Unplug + Play

Families with children will find no shortage of rainy-day activities across Guildford. Older children and teenagers can burn off energy at AirHop Trampoline Park, go ice skating, bowling swimming and an array of other activities at Guildford Spectrum or head to Ninja Warrior.  Younger children may enjoy imaginative play at the Merrow Secret Garden Playroom or explore the soft play facilities at Guildford Spectrum.

From active adventures and creative play to fascinating heritage sites, galleries, brewery and distillery tours, Guildford offers something for every age, proving that a rainy day can be just as memorable as a sunny one.
