There are several free events designed to interest, educate and entertain young and old. Green Day, Guildford WalkFest and the Festive Family Day are highlights of the calendar. Featuring markets, information, music, and free have-a-go, fun activities, there’s something for everyone. Don't forget to put this year's Guildford Book Festival dates in your diary - 6 - 20 October.
Throughout September you can enjoy a month-long celebration of walking. Guildford Walkfest brings you a delightful range of free guided walks designed to encourage people of all ages and abilities to enjoy Guildford town and the surrounding countryside. Whether you are looking for short informative walk or long rambles or anywhere in between, Walkfest has something for you - Take a look
All year-round, the cobbled (always referred to as cobbles but they are officially setts) High Street plays host to a monthly Farmers' Market which is held on the 1st Tuesday of Every month and several other markets including vintage, craft and food & drink.
