As a not-for-profit community interest company, income goes into promoting the best of Surrey and developing our activities to help grow the visitor economy.
Visit Surrey is guided by a highly skilled board of directors representing the full spectrum of the county’s visitor economy - from the arts, horseracing and food and drink, to historic houses, gardens and places of natural beauty. All directors serve on a voluntary basis, generously donating their time and expertise for the benefit of the county, and we are deeply grateful for their support.
The Visit Surrey website, which ranks top in Google for Surrey tourism searches, receives over One Million visitors per year, equating to nearly 7 million pageviews - and our social media channels have over 45,000 followers.
Visit Surrey believes that collaborating with like-minded organisations benefits everyone and helps us promote Surrey tourism to the widest possible audience. We are therefore proud to work with a range of partners across the county, including Surrey County Council and local authorities, the University of Surrey, Tourism South East, and Surrey Hills National Landscape.
We place great importance on our relationship with VisitBritain and VisitEngland, ensuring we stay up to date with the latest tourism news and trends, which we pass on to our partners and members.
