Visit Surrey works to boost the visitor economy and support businesses in promoting Surrey as a great destination to visit. As a not-for-profit community interest company, income goes into promoting the best in Surrey and developing our activities to help grow the visitor economy.
Visit Surrey is led by a highly-skilled board of directors who represent the breadth of our visitor economy – including the arts, horseracing, food and drink, places of beauty, historic houses and breath-taking gardens. All are unpaid, generously giving their time and expertise for the good of the county, and we are enormously grateful for their support.
The Visit Surrey website, which ranks top in Google for Surrey tourism searches, received over One Million visitors per year, equating to 6.9 million pageviews and our social media channels have over 45,000 followers.
Visit Surrey believes that working in partnership with like-minded organisations benefits us all and ultimately allows us to promote Surrey tourism to as wide an audience as possible. We are therefore proud to work with organisations across Surrey, including Surrey County Council and local authorities; University of Surrey; Tourism South East and Surrey Hills National Landscape.
Our relationship with Visit Britain and Visit England is also of utmost importance, ensuring we are at the cutting edge of news and developments and able to share them with our partners and members.
