Surrey's beautiful vineyards are found in the stunning national landscape of the Surrey Hills, in south east England.

Vineyards of the Surrey Hills was founded by Albury Organic Vineyard, Chilworth Manor Vineyard, Denbies Wine Estate, Greyfriars Vineyard and High Clandon Estate Vineyard in 2019 to champion Surrey wine, and each vineyard welcomes visitors to delight in their views, award-winning English wines and tours and tastings.

More recently, Soloms Court (not yet open to the public) and Tanhurst Estate have also joined the wine route.

With chalky lime and sandstone hills running through the North Downs of Surrey, the vineyards have the same geology as that of the Champagne region of France - and all less than an hour from London with excellent transport connections to both Gatwick Airport and Heathrow Airport.

From English sparkling wines that are matured for years to fresh and vibrant whites and rosés, the Surrey Hills produces award-winning wines that are making a name for themselves on the international stage.

Vineyards of the Surrey Hills has announced the very first Surrey Hills Wine Week, running from Saturday May 30 to Sunday June 7, 2026. Over the course of the week, all seven Surrey Hills vineyards will open their gates with a series of unique events, offering visitors the chance to explore the region’s exceptional wines through immersive tours, tastings and one-of-a-kind experiences.
