Opportunity to apply for free Enhanced Membership of Visit Surrey through central Government Funding
Thanks to Surrey Heath Borough Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund allocation, our county’s official tourist board - Visit Surrey - is able to provide Enhanced Membership support for a limited number of businesses in the Surrey Heath Visitor Economy. This is available for 12 months at no charge, as the fee will be covered by the funding.
What is the UK Shared Prosperity Fund?
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. If you would like to apply to benefit from this Fund by way of a free Enhanced Membership for one year on the main website for visitors to Surrey, www.visitsurrey.com, please confirm your interest by emailing website@visitsurrey.com as soon as possible and no later than 31 August.
This is a great opportunity, as the website attracts more than 1 million users every year, predominantly from the UK and London.

There are 20 free Enhanced pages, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible, bone-fide tourism businesses located within the Borough of Surrey Heath. If successful, your listing will be live by 30 October and will run for one year.
