From Ockley, follow Standon Lane for approx 0.8 miles.

The Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden entrance is on the right, 200 yards past a left turning to Okewood Church and before the Gatton Manor Golf Club. The entrance is marked by green signs on both sides of the road.

Nearest train station is Ockley (3 miles) - no taxi rank

Dorking Station (10 miles) does have a taxi rank

There are no buses that come down Standon Lane, however there is a bus route (number 50 from Dorking to Horsham) that travels through Walliswood, stopping at Walliswood Green. The Sculpture Garden is around 3/4 mile walk from there.

  • Guide Dogs Permitted
  • Ramp/Level Access - The Garden is only partially accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs due to steps, narrow and uneven paths in places. After wet weather accessibility is reduced even more due to soft ground and the risk of getting stuck or causing damage to the grounds. Please contact us for details.

Catering

  • Picnic Site - A large grass area near the car-park with chairs and tables, and a covered area under reception with plenty of seating. Please do not picnic elsewhere in the Garden as it can cause disruption to other visitors.

Establishment Features

  • Dogs Accepted - Dogs are very welcome, so long as they are kept on a lead and 'accidents' are cleared up. We have a number of ducks and other waterfowl, so please do not bring your dog if he/she will worry the birds.

  • Educational Visits Accepted - Bookings for groups no larger than 30 pupils with a suitable number of adults should be made in advance and visits take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10.30am till 5pm.
