Spring in Surrey

Wave goodbye to winter and enjoy the flourish of springtime in Surrey.

Our beautiful county comes alive through March, April and May, with vibrant spring flowers making it the perfect time to visit one of Surrey’s many open spaces, gardens and arboretums.

Easter falls in the middle of April this year, and we've a huge range of things to do over the Easter holidays.

Spring also means lambing season and children always love seeing the cute little spring lambs jumping through fields.

Visit  Bocketts Farm or Godstone Farm and see these cuties up close (they have indoor play areas if the weather is unpredictable).

The warmer weather is a great time to get out and about on quiet country lanes with a bike, put on your walking boots and fall in love with Surrey's glorious countryside.

From glorious gardens and historic landmarks to stunning countryside, there's much to enjoy at National Trust places in Surrey this spring.

May is a fantastic time to explore Surrey's burgeoning food and drink scene, with farm shops such as Secretts offering delicious selections of local and speciality food and drink.

Head to a fabulous vineyard, brewery or distillery for a taste of Surrey's hugely exciting and ever growing drinks industry. Why not make a tour of it and visit a few of them, by bike or public transport (or with a designated driver)?

Last, but by no means least, make sure to add Surrey Day, to your diary! Let's celebrate everything that makes Surrey a great place to visit, work and live in.
