Summer

There are countless festivals, shows and summer events taking place across the county during the summer months. From the world famous sporting festival, The Derby in early June to the popular Woking Food and Drink Festival in early September. It's a great time to relax and enjoy a free concert in a local park or enjoy a film under the stars.

Autumn Events

Here's what to enjoy this Autumn in Surrey.
Look out for the Heritage Open Days in September, which gives visitors the opportunity to explore Surrey's fantastic buildings for free.  Take in the changing colours of autumn at one the the fabulous National Trust properies in Surrey.  Taste delicious local produce at one of the many food and drink festivals taking place across the county or listen to talk by an author at the Guildford Book Festival, Surrey's largest literary festival takes place in October.  You will always find plenty of family friendly events taking place at Half Term as well as some fabulous spooky activities to celebrate Halloween.   The season ends with a bang as spectacular community bonfire and firework events take place across the county from late October to early November to mark the Guy Fawkes Gunpowder plot.

Winter

Although some attractions close ovr the winter months, you will find it is a wonderful time to explore Surrey.  Wrap up warm and admire the beauty of the countryside on a crisp winters day or escape the cold and visit one of the many indoor attractions that are open during the winter months.   Surrey towns sparkles as festive lights are turned on across the county and you'll find plenty of cheer at Christmas party venues and hilarious pantos. 

Spring Events

With the bulbs and blossom arriving and wonderful celebrations including Easter there's plenty to enjoy including Easter egg hunts for the children, a variety of events in celebration of  England's national day, St George's Day as well as the hugely popular annual County Show which takes place on the last bank holiday in May.
